Year 7 get off to a flying start

During Year 7 assembly this week, Tiani Byfield-Davis took us on the beginning of a flight over the Amazon as she read an extract from the 'The Explorer' by Katherine Rundell. This book is the focus of the forthcoming Year 7 Book Club to be held later on in the month.
The following girls were delighted to receive their edible prizes for winning the National Poetry Day Trail: Mia Woodfield, Aliza Mussani, Hemma Lalli, Anula Oates, Ruth Christian, Alice Rooney, Simran Sohota, Wajiha Ghazi, Aarya Dhami, Elin Payne and Kiren Aulakh.
