Kindergarten explore the outdoors
25 May 2018
It was lovely for the girls to be outside in their shorts and t-shirts this week and Kindergarten made the most of the sunny weather, really enjoying the new equipment that was available in their outdoor classroom.
In the mud kitchen the large jars and dispensers enabled the girls to mix new concoctions and to cook up a storm. They enjoyed filling their utensils with a range of ‘ingredients’ and then adding liquid to bind it together.
They replanted the wellington boot containers, had a close examination of the wildlife garden and investigated the pumpkin patch which they helped to plant.
The final activity they enjoyed was using the Alice in Wonderland style teapots to investigate the properties of water as it travelled down the two tubes to the end.
