Spelling Bee Abuzz With Activity

The Octagon was a hive of activity on the last day of term as pupils took part in the annual Year 7 Spelling Bee.

Adorned with wings, bumblebee deely-boppers and even bee wands they answered in House Teams a series of challenging spellings. The dynamic Mr Skilbeck acted as quiz master whilst Ms Jones-Owen buzzed about taking tally of the fast-paced scoring.

Quick fire spellings of words from Science, Music and Languages, Art and Technology, Classics and Humanities were all tackled with enthusiasm but ultimately there could only be one Queen Bee.... Well done to St. Patrick's!
