Year 12 student Maya will be the subject of a live interview on BBC West Midlands Radio this weekend.
The interview, held to mark the 40th anniversary of St Mary’s Hospice Birmingham, will focus on the charity’s vital work and give recognition to Maya for her amazing fundraising efforts in support of them.
Maya first became involved with St Mary’s Hospice when her mother became ill. Her mother sadly passed away in May 2018, but Maya has continued to act as an ambassador for the charity, raising funds and sharing her experiences with others.
The live interview will take place on BBC West Midlands Radio at 8.00am on Sunday 10 March.
