Spanish language and culinary skills put to the test

Senior School

05 April 2019

Last week, Year 9 Spanish transformed their class into a series of mini restaurants in order to practise their speaking, as well as their culinary skills.

To make their role-plays more authentic, the girls brought in different Spanish dishes, including flan de huevo y caramelo (egg crème caramel), churros, tabla de embutidos (cold-cut platter), arroz con pollo (rice with chicken), magdalenas (fairy cakes) and the all-time favourite drink, Cola Cao.

They had some time at the end of the lesson to try their creations and to no one’s surprise, the food was gone within minutes. ¡Todo estaba delicioso!

A huge thank you and well done to the girls for their efforts!
