Spring has sprung in Nursery

This week in Nursery the theme has been Spring.
The girls have used magnifying lenses to look carefully at and talk about daffodils. They have also done some very careful observational drawings of tulips.
Another activity was looking at Holi, the Hindu festival of colour which celebrates the start of spring. They used big paintbrushes to spread paper paste glue over paper. They then used shakers filled with powder paint and glitter to make an explosion of colour on the paper.
At playtimes they have enjoyed playing out in the beautiful spring sunshine too!
