A taste of Senior School for pupils in Year 4

Year 4 girls enjoyed a warm welcome to Senior School on Wednesday 12 June.
The aim of this day was to be both enjoyable and informative, and to give girls in Year 4 the opportunity to start thinking about the transition to secondary school.
The morning allowed the girls to ask questions and find out for themselves what it is like to be a pupil in Senior School. They met with members of the Year 7 Form Tutor Team and Senior Leadership Team who were pleased to answer their many questions!
The girls also experienced a range of different academic lessons alongside Year 7 pupils. In order to make the girls feel as comfortable as possible, each Year 4 pupil was paired with a pupil in Year 7 to sit with during lessons, giving them the chance to forge a new friendship and a connection with girls in Senior School.
We look forward to the ‘Meet the Leadership Team’ event and Senior School Open Day on 27 June following the English Speaking Board presentations from Year 4.
