30 November 2018
As part of their study of The Tudor period in History, Year 4 visited Selly Manor on Monday 26 November.
The huge fireplaces and realistic Tudor kitchens are always a firm favourite with everyone. Some lucky pupils also got the chance to try out the servant's bed complete with straw mattress and pillows, remarkably they thought it was quite comfortable.
The girls also had the opportunity to find out what a child’s life was like. They dressed up and played traditional Tudor games such as cup and ball and diabolo with no electronic games in sight.
Although cold, it was a fun and informative day enjoyed by all.
