Viking Invasion

As part of their History curriculum Year 3 enjoyed a Viking Day this week. They all dressed as Vikings and took part in a range of activities to help them understand how Vikings lived.
They formed Viking families and learnt about the ways Vikings farmed, ground wheat and knitted. The highlight of the day was learning to be Viking fighters. Armed with shields
and spears they practised marching and preparing for battle, Viking style!
