We Love Our Mums

On Wednesday, we welcomed our Reception parents in to school to join us for our special Mother’s day Assembly which the girls performed in the Prep School Hall.

Each girl had written about why they love their mummy which they read aloud for everyone to share. The girls also recited several poems which they had learnt in their classes and they sang numerous songs all about mums.  

The girls performed with confidence and enthusiasm in front of the large audience and we were proud of them all.

Each of our mums was also presented with a beautiful bunch of daffodils, a painting and a hand sewn card before leaving.

The assembly evoked so many different emotions for the audience, especially when the girls sang their final song and thanked their mums for helping them to ‘Reach for the Stars.’

We wish all of our mums a Happy Mother’s Day on Sunday.
