This week in the Discovery Den girls in Nursery, Kindergarten and Reception have been thinking about where their food comes from.
There has been a particular focus on milk and the girls have enjoyed milking our cows Daisy and Flow and have thought about dairy products that contain this milk.
Girls have also explored oats, rice and soya beans in the tuff tray and know that these, along with coconuts and other forms of nuts can make alternative milk products. They have even had the chance to decorate their very own milk cartons that the Year 6 girls helped to make for them!
This topic has followed on well from last week when the focus was on growing food from seeds and they were able to experience harvesting potatoes and carrots.
