Poetry trail for Year 7

In celebration of National Poetry Day, Year 7 were invited to take part in a lunchtime poetry trail starting in the library.
Poems such as Shakespeare’s ‘Sonnet 130’, Wordsworth’s ‘Daffodils’ and Lear’s ‘The Owl and the Pussycat’, were placed around the school and teams were asked to find the poems, collect clues and race back to the library with their completed quiz sheets!
The team winning team will be announced over the next couple of weeks.
