Creatures Great and Small

The day began with much excitement as the Reception girls skipped into school! It was finally the day of the trip to the Safari Park. They were keen to take their seats on the coach and once everyone had their seatbelts on we started our journey with a great deal of happy chattering.
Once at the safari park the girls were able to look closely at many of the animals who were enjoying the lovely sunshine and clear blue skies! They were able to make references to the learning they had done in the classroom over the last term. The giraffes, lions and elephants were definite favourites.
After seeing the animals we settled for our packed lunches in Boj’s Giggly park along with the resident ducks! Fun was had playing here too.
The afternoon was spent exploring the park and excitement peaked as we tried out some of the rides, the girls were pleased to see the teachers joining in too!
The coach journey home was somewhat quieter with many girls catching up with a few minutes sleep!
