Last Saturday (5th June), 11 students from Year 11 and 12 took on pupils from Oxford International School in the Independent Schools Mock Trial Event.

The event, organised by Mr Smith, took place online this year due to the global pandemic, but the new format did little to dampen Team EHS’s spirits. The proceedings were presided over by Judge Griffin, who commented that she was extremely impressed by the dedication and delivery of all students. Judge Griffin was also kind enough to give up some of her own time to participate in a Q&A about her role at the end of the session.

It was a brilliant experience for everyone involved – very well done to the whole team. And if you think you might like to try your hand at defending or prosecuting, we’ll be recruiting very soon for next year’s team.
