Minibeasts Galore!

This term, Year 2 have been learning about minibeasts as part of their topic work. In Science, they learnt about the parts of an insect and created some minibeast fact files. They have also produced some lovely Ladybird books, in English lessons.

Over the last few months, in their Music lessons, pupils have worked hard to learn a variety of songs about minibeasts for a concert. 

The girls thoroughly enjoyed singing and joining in with the actions, particularly for the Centipede Song, where they wore stripy socks on their hands! They performed with confidence and enthusiasm to an audience of Prep pupils in the morning and to their parents in the afternoon. Well done girls!
