Easter has been a focus for activities in Nursery this week as seen in the Curiosity Cube.
The girls were able to practise their independent pre-writing skills on egg shapes and filling in the spots on Easter pictures.
Using their developing number skills they went on an egg hunt with a difference in the Outdoor Classroom. The eggs that were hidden had numbers on that they had to read when they found them. They counted the chicks on the partial eggs and had to find the corresponding numeral in order to complete the egg.
The girls also enjoyed using their practical skills when they made Easter nest cakes and their Easter cards. For these they laced around an egg shape and wrote their name on the label.
It is clear the girls are looking forward to the holidays ahead.
