Red Nose Day Fun

The girls in Prep showed their support for the national fundraising event when they joined in with Red Nose Day last Friday.
They were invited to come to school dressed in red for a donation to the charity. They were very inventive in their outfits which, of course, included lots of red noses. Whilst these were not found to be very comfortable to wear the girls were impressed that they were made out of natural materials and not plastic.
The girls also expressed their preferences for their favourite character with Dot coming out on top. They were also given the opportunity to design their own Red Nose character with Westbourne joining in the fun. Maybe in the future we will see these on the shelves!
During the day there were many jokes told providing much ‘comic relief’ for everyone; many groans and lots of laughter. We were also delighted to donate £230 to help
children in the UK and other countries.
