Super Science Trip

Year 2 were off to Think Tank on Friday with very eager and excited girls. They all bounced into school first thing in the morning as they were looking forward to the trip!
On arrival, we went to Mini Brum where the girls explored and worked together to be hairdressers, builders, dentists and had a good look around the play areas, which they loved.
Next we went to ‘Colour me a Rainbow,’ an interactive science show about transparent, opaque and translucent materials and light and shadows. The presenters performed a wonderful shadow puppet show. The girls were very enthusiastic and knowledgeable on this topic and the presenter was impressed with the girls.
Finally we went to the planetarium where the girls relaxed and enjoyed a view of the night sky over Birmingham and different stars, constellations and planets were identified
and observed.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed their trip and had a wonderful time at Think Tank extending their science skills.
