Year 6 Adventurers!

Year 6 girls discovered that Bassetts Pole Adventure Park offered fun for everyone during our recent visit.
A themed set, ‘The Jungle’, was the base for a Laser Tag activity which included crossing a stream, defending bridges and controlling watchtowers whilst learning to navigate through jungle buildings.
The girls worked to gain points and achieve mission objectives during this fast paced, tactical combat sport which was great for teambuilding. The second adventure activity was ‘Bushcraft Survival’! The girls braved the wild outdoors in dark, woodland expanses. Surrounded by an array of flora and fauna, the centre staff tutored the girls in the principles of survival techniques which included shelter building and learning how to toast marshmallows on an open fire!
Our young adventurers certainly escaped the hustle and bustle of everyday life during this school outing which we are sure they will look back on with fond memories.
